After School's new member

11 Apr – After announcing that After School will have a new member, Pledis Entertainment has revealed the face of the said member; Ga-eun.

According to Koreaboo website, Pledis Entertainment remarked, "After School is an ever-changing group, with the addition of UEE, Orange Caramel, and Yi-young since their debut. We hope you look forward to yet a new After School, with the addition of newest member Ga-eun."

They also revealed, "17-year-old Ga-eun went through intense training with us and has the most powerful performances along with charismatic vocals among all the Pledis trainees."

It was also revealed that the newbie spent her junior high school days in Japan, and her fluent Japanese skills will be a huge benefit to the group as they promote in Japan.

Ga-eun stated, "I'm both nervous and excited now that I have been confirmed as the newest member. I want to become a helpful and necessary member for my After School seniors."

Ga-eun will hold her very first stage performance after After School's new album releases on 21 June.
